About the role

  • Senior Game Designer at Twin Harbour Interactive owning complex systems and features for mobile games. Collaborative role focusing on design, quality standards, and mentoring within a hybrid team.

Responsibilities

  • Own core systems and features end-to-end, from design and documentation to launch and live iteration
  • Design deep, long-term gameplay systems (progression, combat, economy, alliances, etc.)
  • Set quality standards through strong specs, clear decision-making, and technical leadership
  • Design with live operations in mind, using player data and feedback to iterate sustainably
  • Balance and tune interconnected systems for long-term retention
  • Collaborate closely with Tech, Art, Product, Marketing, and Community teams
  • Contribute to roadmap discussions and long-term vision
  • Mentor other designers through feedback, reviews, and collaboration

Requirements

  • Proven experience shipping and iterating on live-service, F2P mobile games
  • Strong system and feature design skills across complex, interconnected mechanics
  • Excellent design documentation and communication skills
  • Data-informed mindset (metrics, player behavior, live feedback)
  • Ability to lead through expertise, pragmatism, and collaboration
  • Comfort navigating constraints, ambiguity, and tradeoffs
