Responsibilities
In this position you will act as an MEP Planner – HVAC & Sanitary (m/f/d) in our STF Energy business unit and take responsibility for planning various large-scale building services projects, specializing in HVAC and sanitary systems.
You independently perform various calculations for heating/cooling loads, duct networks, potable water, wastewater, stormwater, etc., to determine, for example, pipe dimensions, air velocities and the sizing of components (valves), etc.
You independently produce floor plan drawings, schematics and section views.
For our building services planning we use digital twins – fully digital replicas of the buildings whose BIM models form the basis of our planning.
For calculations and drawing production across all trades we use Mh-Software, AutoCAD and Revit.
We use OrcaAVA for preparing bill of quantities and, for example, cost tracking.
You will be in close, ongoing collaboration with our electrical specialist planners, project managers and your HVAC colleagues.
Requirements
You should have professional experience in building services (MEP), e.g., in HVAC planning, technical systems planning, technical drafting, planning engineering or a similar role.
Ideally you have gained experience across the different trades (heating, ventilation, sanitary, air conditioning), or you have specialized in one of them.
You have completed an (engineering) degree with a Bachelor's, Master's or Diplom focused on supply engineering/building services or similar OR you are a state-certified technician or hold a master craftsman qualification in one of the trades (HLSK).
Through previous roles or training you already have user-level experience with a sector-specific CAD program (e.g. Revit or AutoCAD) and with tendering software (such as OrcaAVA or similar).
To ensure optimal communication among all stakeholders, you require very good German language skills, spoken and written.
