About the role
- Technical Architect supporting development of applications in PowerBuilder and ASP.NET at Stefanini. Collaborating in a hybrid work environment to drive technological innovation.
Responsibilities
- Support the construction, maintenance and deployment of applications, services and components developed in PowerBuilder using the Sybase PowerBuilder integrated development tools;
- Support the construction, maintenance and deployment of applications, services and components developed in ASP.NET and C# .NET using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET;
- Support the construction, maintenance and deployment of applications, services and components developed in Active Server Pages (ASP) and Visual Basic 6.0 using Microsoft Visual InterDev and Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 (SP6);
- Configure and deploy integrations between distributed applications and the mainframe (IBM Mainframe) using Microsoft Host Integration Server (COMTI);
- Deploy, maintain and configure applications, services and components running on Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) and Microsoft Component Object Model (COM/COM+);
- Configure, tune and deploy solutions that use Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ);
- Perform routine performance analysis on web servers, application servers and processes, proactively identifying issues;
- Create and review architecture documentation;
- Perform software architecture modeling using Unified Modeling Language (UML) and produce artifacts required by the Bank's development process;
- Design data persistence models using ER diagrams;
- Design and execute software architecture projects related to product technologies, participating in the elaboration, construction and transition phases of the development process;
- Inspect and validate analysis and design artifacts using IBM Rational Software Architect;
- Inspect Microsoft platform source code according to defined rules;
- Create automated or semi-automated procedures for artifact validation.
Requirements
- Experience providing specialized technical support, installation/configuration, training or application development using Sybase PowerBuilder;
- Hold at least one of the following technical certifications:
- • Sybase PowerBuilder Developer Professional;
- • Sybase PowerBuilder Developer Professional Migration;
- • Sybase PowerBuilder Developer Associate;
