Structural Engineer focused on bridge and structural engineering analysis and design at Stantec. Involved in developing plans and assisting with structural condition inspections and reports.
Responsibilities
Perform bridge and structural engineering analysis
Develop designs and execute geometry calculations
Develop drawings and assist with structural condition inspections and reports
Prepare plans, specifications, structural analysis, design calculations, and load ratings for DOT and Municipal clients
Prepare engineering reports and technical studies
Assist with construction phase design services and field work for bridge projects
Work 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience; OR a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.
3 years of experience with Bridge engineering and structural design; CSiBridge, SAP2000, WSDOT PGSuper, WSDOT BRIDGE, Lpile, SpColumn, MicroStation, AutoCAD; AASHTO LRFD, WSDOT BDM, WSDOT Standard Specs, AASHTO Seismic Guide Specs, FHWA Seismic Retrofit Manual.
2 years of experience with Engineering Projects with Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).
Active U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days a week.
