Responsibilities
- Interpret and translate the needs and desires of a client into cohesive interior design solutions.
- Collaborate with team leadership to develop thoughtful, well-coordinated design solutions.
- Production of drawings (2D/3D) and written material to support the conceptual direction of interior design.
- Present ideas in formal and informal settings.
- Work collaboratively with the architectural team, conceptualizing, developing, and documenting varying aspects of the interior design.
Requirements
- Hospitality design experience preferred.
- Good understanding of Revit or at minimum AutoCad and the use of it as a design tool.
- Experience with the most recent design software (Sketch-up, Rhino, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, etc.) is preferred.
- Ability to hand sketch and communicate concepts and ideas to others effectively.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a project team.
- Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite; prefer experience with Newforma.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a CIDA accredited Interior Design program or related field. Interior Design License preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred.
