Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories for software development projects using MS Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define project goals and scope
- Work with Developers, QA Analysts, and Project Managers to lead requirements-gathering sessions, design solutions, and provide technical guidance
- Identify and address process inefficiencies, recommending improvements and controls
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and draft progress reports
- Maintain system protocols by updating procedures and tracking requirement changes
- Utilize MS SQL and Optimus queries to extract data analytics that support requirements gathering
- Support administration of processes, reporting, investigation, analysis, design, development, and testing requirements for projects and system updates
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst working on software development projects
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Hands-on experience with programming languages, web technologies, and database systems
- Experience with MS Azure DevOps (or equivalent tools like Jira)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other CRM platforms
- Experience with data visualization and data modeling tools (specifically Power BI)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create clear documentation and explain complex process flows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- CBAP, PMP, CSM, CSPO, CDMP, and ITIL certifications are considered assets
