About the role

  • Manager of CLO Loan Operations overseeing servicing of syndicated bank loans within CLO structures at SS&C. Lead a team, manage daily operations, and ensure deliverables are met.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team responsible for the accurate servicing of syndicated bank loans within CLO structures
  • Act as a primary client contact, manage daily operations, and ensure deliverables are met with precision and timeliness
  • Manage and oversee a team of associates and senior associates in daily loan servicing operations
  • Serve as the primary client relationship manager for CLO loan servicing, responding to inquiries and delivering high-quality service
  • Oversee loan trade processing, settlement, cash flow booking, reconciliations, and agent notice review
  • Ensure all loan static data setup, reconciliations (cash, cost, positions, accrued interest), and reporting are completed accurately and on time
  • Review and sign off on escalated breaks, ensuring resolution within agreed timelines
  • Lead client onboarding, system setup, and process implementation for new CLO portfolios
  • Conduct performance reviews, coach, and mentor team members to foster professional development
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across fund accounting, technology, and operations to streamline processes and resolve issues
  • Develop and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
  • Maintain strong governance and controls, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and client SLAs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in syndicated bank loan operations, with direct CLO servicing experience
  • Prior experience managing a team within loan servicing or operations required
  • Familiarity with Advent Geneva and syndicated loan servicing platforms a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of loan settlements, reconciliations, and reporting for complex loan portfolios
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships at senior levels
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to balance client demands, operational timelines, and team management in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related financial systems
