Responsibilities
Own the core data infrastructure: Lead data pipelines into Snowflake and Power BI, maintaining accuracy, consistency, and enterprise-level scalability.
Drive strategic analytics & insights: Apply predictive modeling and statistical analysis to inform executive decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
Lead operational & financial metrics: Oversee reporting on KPIs like churn, signed accounts, and performance metrics; partner with underwriting and finance on deal evaluation.
Build scalable systems & automation: Design future-proof data models, automate manual processes, and maintain data integrity.
Lead a high-performing team: Manage 6+ direct reports across Data Analysts and Managers of Data & Analytics; set priorities, mentor talent, and elevate team capabilities.
Cross-functional partnership: Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to align on metrics, reporting, and business decisions.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in financial data and analytics or related fields
Proven experience managing teams of analysts and managers, and working with enterprise-scale datasets
Advanced SQL skills and strong experience with BI tools, particularly Power BI
Experience with data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake) and familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R
Knowledge of AI/ML concepts applied to analytics and automation
Expertise in predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and identifying key drivers of performance and operational efficiency
Strong communication skills to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a bias toward action.
