About the role

• Java Software Developer enhancing document management solutions at softgate for diverse clients. Join a collaborative team working on digital transformation projects in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• You will work in a team of developers focused on our digitization and document management solution.
• You will work closely with Product Management and Solution Consultants to implement changes and features according to customer requirements and our product vision.
• Continuous development and modernization of our DMS, accompanying all development phases.
• Close collaboration with Product Management and Solution Consultants to realize new features in line with customer needs and strategic planning.
• Evaluation and selection of new technologies.
• Knowledge sharing and mentoring/support for less experienced colleagues.
• Participation in the recruitment of future team members.

Requirements

• Technical expertise and experience with Java EE (versions 8–17) and Apache Tomcat.
• Experience with HTML/CSS, React/Vue/Angular, Azure DevOps (MS DevOps), Git, Maven, and MS SQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Windows Server, AD/LDAP, Linux, QMS according to ISO 9001, QA, testing, Docker/Kubernetes; Keycloak is an advantage.
• You enjoy working independently and are a team player.
• Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level) and good English skills.
