About the role
- Associate Financial Analyst delivering accurate financial information for Fidelity’s mutual fund boards. Collaborating with teams to analyze profitability and support fund fee contract renewal.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in delivering accurate, high-quality financial information for Fidelity’s mutual fund boards
- Develop and apply your knowledge of Fidelity businesses and investment products to support the renewal of mutual fund fee contracts
- Assist with preparing and reporting quarterly and annual Fund Profitability results to senior leaders
- Analyze the results and work with business partners to understand how changes within the business affect results
- Gain an understanding of how Fidelity’s distribution channels contribute to the firm’s mutual fund business
- Contribute to various ad hoc projects, including Board-requested analyses and methodology reviews, ensuring that Trustees have the insights they need to make informed decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
- Professional experience in finance, accounting, and/or in the financial services industry a plus
- Self-motivated teammate with energy, enthusiasm, and intellectual curiosity
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with business partners
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for all organizational levels
- Proficiency in modeling, presentation, and data visualization tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Oracle BI, Power BI)
- Adaptability to shifting priorities while maintaining progress on scheduled work
