About the role

• System Engineer responsible for planning and implementing SCADA systems for battery storage and substations. Collaborating with teams to ensure system functionality and conducting tests.

Responsibilities

• You plan, design and implement SCADA systems for large-scale battery storage systems and substations
• You create functional and communication concepts in accordance with project-specific requirements
• You independently perform system tests, commissioning, fault analysis and simulations
• Close collaboration with internal specialist departments and external partners
• You prepare requirement specifications for components and software to be procured and are technically responsible for supplier selection

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of SCADA systems and communication protocols (IEC 61850 and IEC 60870, OPC UA, Modbus TCP, etc.)
• At least 3 years of experience in the design and commissioning of SCADA systems, preferably in the field of energy facilities, and basic knowledge of network technology
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Energy Engineering or a comparable qualification
• Analytical thinking, structured working methods and problem-solving skills
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
