About the role
- Information Engineer supporting the OKC Air Logistics Center’s Bomber Division. Involves systems development, requirements analysis, and SharePoint management.
Responsibilities
- Support the OKC Air Logistics Center’s Bomber Division
- Information systems development, functional and data requirements analysis, systems analysis and design, programming, program design, upgrades, and documentation preparation.
- Supervise others as assigned.
- Manage the daily use of B-1/B-52 Bomber Division sites.
- Perform requirements analysis for new and enhancements of existing features.
- Create, manage and configure EIM (SharePoint) sites, libraries, and documents.
- Explore or integrate tools for B-1/B-52 workflow processes with EIM (SharePoint).
- Customize interfaces and functionality for enhanced user experience.
- Organize division operations data for analysis and supporting briefs.
- Compile reports and provide course of actions or recommendations.
- Track aircraft aborts and deficiencies with Access database, eliminating research hours.
- Define audiences, roles and responsibilities as needed to support warfighter needs.
- Define EIM (SharePoint) strategy encompassing division goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Ten (10) years of general experience
- Three (30) years Information Management experience – Desired
- Current drivers’ license if required for security clearance or driving for business need.
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
- The ability to obtain a Secret security clearance enabling access to various Government facilities.
- Experienced providing recommended solutions supported by technical reports, analytical studies, or program objectives assessments – Desired
- Must have ability to communicate verbally and in written form effectively, and the ability to work within U.S. Government contractual realm.
- Ability to communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Excellent telephone skills and knowledge of working with customers & vendors.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual will have knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software.
