Junior Azure Engineer supporting cloud operations and migrations within the Microsoft ecosystem at Skaylink. Collaborating with experienced engineers to enhance cloud environments.
Responsibilities
Implementation and configuration of SaaS and Azure environments based on existing runbooks.
Support for migrations from on-premises or legacy systems to Azure.
Provisioning and management of Azure resources such as VMs, storage, App Services, and virtual networks.
Monitoring performance and availability using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
Performing maintenance, troubleshooting, patching, and backup tasks.
Contributing to incident, problem, and change processes, as well as security and compliance tasks.
Requirements
You bring initial experience with Linux and/or Windows systems.
You have basic knowledge of Azure core services (VMs, Storage, Virtual Networks, App Services), Azure Portal, Azure CLI or PowerShell.
You are familiar with monitoring, backup, and networking solutions (VPN, firewall, DNS, virtual networks).
You understand identity and access management, especially Microsoft Entra ID and RBAC.
Initial scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python), knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD, ARM/Terraform, or an AZ‑900 certification is a plus.
Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
