About the role
- Senior Software Architect collaborating on software architecture for HPC systems at SiPearl. Working closely with R&D teams and partners to define and document technical architecture.
Responsibilities
- Defining and updating software architecture specifications based on internal requirements, partner inputs, and industry standards
- Supporting software development teams by answering technical questions and providing architecture guidance and implementation models
- Collaborating with partners and standards bodies (e.g. Arm, Nvidia, AMD, CXL, OCP) and contributing to joint projects
- Participating in technology watch activities, including partner presentations, seminars, and conferences
- Sharing technical expertise internally and contributing to working groups and standards discussions
Requirements
- Strong experience in software architecture within complex systems (HPC, servers, embedded systems)
- Excellent knowledge of ARM architectures, Linux-based software development, and low-level programming
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear and structured architecture documentation
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate risks and propose solutions
- Experience in the following areas is a plus: High Performance Computing (multicore architectures, low-latency and high-bandwidth interfaces), Cache coherency protocols and standards (CXL, OFI, NVLink, UALink, UEFI, ACPI), Server hardware interfaces (PCIe, DDR, HBM, SPI, I2C), Participation in industry standards working groups or collaborative R&D projects, High performance networking (OFI Libfabric), Open Compute Project standards
