About the role

• Data Engineer joining Sicredi's team to analyze credit pricing data and build metrics. Involves multidisciplinary collaboration across various teams and data processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform the ETL process (extraction, transformation, and loading of data);
• Automate processes and routines for the area;
• Work on data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques;
• Retrieve data from source systems in an easy-to-use format;
• Manage databases following best practices;
• Collaborate with the different roles in the data process (analysts, engineers, data scientists, and business analysts);
• Maintain necessary documentation for deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related areas;
• Strong writing, synthesis, presentation, and communication skills, using language appropriate for the target audience;
• Experience with programming languages and technologies such as Python, Spark, SQL, and SAS;
• Knowledge of Databricks for building and managing big data pipelines is desirable;
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques to design efficient data schemas is desirable;
• Experience and knowledge of the Financial Market are desirable;
• Intermediate English is desirable.
