About the role

• Senior Counsel overseeing credit transactions at Setpoint Capital. Utilize legal expertise in a growing credit platform with significant impact on operations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Managing Director and Investment Principals, draft and negotiate credit facility documentation, including term sheets, loan agreements, master repurchase agreements, amendments and other miscellaneous agreements
• Coordinate transactions across other Setpoint Capital functions, including regulatory, custody and compliance
• Oversee closings and manage outside counsel
• Keep up to speed with industry trends and legal and regulatory market changes

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience at a top law firm drafting and negotiating a variety of credit agreements and related documentation including asset backed facilities
• Ability to prioritize appropriately and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
• JD degree from a top tier law school, admission to the New York or Texas bar in Good Standing
• Flexible, positive, and team oriented approach to work
