About the role
- Senior Information Security Analyst ensuring the security of critical tech environments at Servix. Responsible for incident response, vulnerability management, and security controls implementation.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced administration of security tools such as next-generation firewalls, EDR/XDR solutions, enterprise antivirus, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Monitor and analyze security events, including alert investigation, event correlation, and threat identification.
- Lead security incident response from identification through containment, eradication, and lessons learned.
- Manage the vulnerability lifecycle, including identification, prioritization, risk analysis, and remediation tracking.
- Implement and evolve security controls across infrastructure, network, systems, and cloud environments.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams on adopting information security best practices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and incident response playbooks.
- Contribute to defining and evolving security policies, standards, and processes.
- Proactively identify threats, including conducting threat hunting activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; a postgraduate degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related areas is desirable.
- Proven experience in information security, with work in corporate and/or critical environments.
- Advanced knowledge of networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and IT infrastructure architecture.
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, EDR/XDR, enterprise antivirus, and intrusion detection solutions.
- Experience in incident response and vulnerability management.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make decisions in risk scenarios.
- Good technical communication and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
