About the role
- Financial Controller/Senior Financial Controller role managing financial planning and reporting for clients in Berlin. Seeking candidates with strong analytical and Excel skills and fluency in German.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of financial planning, steering and control
- Prepare budget and forecast documents as well as detailed variance analyses and reports
- Responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB/IFRS, including comprehensive financial KPI analyses
- Optimize internal controlling and reporting processes with a focus on efficiency and automated reporting
- Collaborate with other departments and derive actionable recommendations to optimize processes and improve profitability
- Perform ad-hoc analyses
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification with a focus on Controlling
- Proven professional experience in Controlling
- Strong willingness to learn and ability to quickly get up to speed on complex topics and develop creative solutions
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Business-fluent German (spoken and written); ideally good English skills (spoken and written)
