Responsibilities
Support the Claims department by ensuring vehicles involved in accidents are repaired correctly or valued if beyond repair
Assess vehicle damage and determine repair methods
Liaise with repair shops
Review claims and provide cost estimates
Keep customers informed, balancing technical assessments with customer interactions
Collaborate with the engineering team and other departments
Requirements
Knowledge of modern motor vehicle repair and methodology
Ability to negotiate and agree on repair costs
Skills in negotiating total loss settlements
Self-motivated and capable of making independent decisions
Accredited to ATA standards or working towards it
Knowledge of vehicle construction and repair techniques
Competent in using repair Estimating Systems (Audatex)
