Responsibilities
Design, build and optimize data pipelines and transformations enabling Artificial Intelligence, advanced analytics, and other enterprise use cases.
Research, recommend, implement, and drive changes to evolve architecture and patterns to meet quickly changing data requirements.
Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, technology teams and other stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver data solutions that excite stakeholders and deliver business value.
Mentor and consult with team members and other areas to ensure best practices and optimal data solutions are implemented.
Leverage data governance and data security tooling, processes, and principles to ensure data is secure, easy to find, trusted, and accessible.
Devise technical solutions to drive business outcomes based on an understanding of customers, business processes and technical requirements.
Requirements
4 year degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent industry experience.
2+ years of hands-on, professional experience working in Data Engineering.
Experience with tools and concepts related to data and analytics, such as ETL, data storage options, data quality, working with structured and unstructured data.
ANSI SQL Skills/Experience
Cloud knowledge and experience – AWS and Snowflake preferred
Programming experience - Python or Java preferred.
