Responsibilities
- Work hand-in-hand with UX designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to develop production-ready web applications.
- Deliver web applications that are secure, scalable, fault-tolerant and performant.
- Transform complex datasets into compelling visual stories.
- Ensure a foundation of reliability through automated tests, both unit and end-to-end.
- Embrace ownership from conceptual design through to deployment and beyond.
- Contribute to raising frontend standards through a pragmatic, principles-driven approach to technology.
- Collaborate with teammates, share knowledge, and help improve how frontend systems are built and maintained.
- Advocate for tools and frameworks based on their proven ability to solve specific challenges.
Requirements
- Experience with the React framework and proficiency in TypeScript.
- Familiar with version control systems like GitHub.
- Familiar with translating Figma based design prototypes, with openness to closer, more iterative collaboration with designers.
- Familiar with CSS-in-JS libraries such as Styled Components.
- An advocate and implementer of industry best practices in frontend engineering including automated testing, using frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
