About the role

  • Consultant Cardiac Surgeon performing advanced surgeries in the private healthcare sector. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring optimal patient outcomes with comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of cardiac surgical procedures including, but not limited to, coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair and replacement, and other advanced cardiac surgeries.
  • Provide expert consultations and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Coordinate pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiologists, anesthetists, and nursing staff.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in cardiac surgery to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Participate in patient education and counseling to support informed decision-making and adherence to treatment protocols.

Requirements

  • M.D. or equivalent medical qualification with board certification in cardiac surgery.
  • Proven track record with at least 6 years of experience in cardiac surgery, preferably in the private sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in performing a wide range of cardiac surgical procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex cases efficiently.
  • Commitment to maintaining clinical excellence and adhering to ethical standards.
  • Experience in private healthcare settings is highly advantageous.
