Responsibilities
Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads
Travels to call on new and existing clients/customers
Develops personal relationships with all areas of the client (Purchasing, Engineering, Mgt)
Negotiates price, terms etc. with clients
Communicates with clients/customers and new sales leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs
Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to clients/customers based on their needs
Ensures client satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise; communicates regularly with Inside Sales team to ensure client needs are met
Maintains communication with existing and previous clients/customers alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest
Meets with the President quarterly to present the status of the territory and to communicate marketplace trends such as technologies, competitors, and new products; maintains customer call reports, contacts and related customer information in SalesForce
Works with Marketing to build the company brand and market territory
Observes safety and security procedures
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and at least five years of industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency working in a computer-supported environment using business software and Microsoft office programs
Demonstrated sales, negotiation and presentation skills
Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills
