About the role
- Servo Architecture Engineer providing design and architecture assistance for HDD technologies. Solving multidisciplinary technical problems and leading initiatives to enable features and performance growth.
Responsibilities
- Solve challenging multidisciplinary technical problems and lead extendibility initiatives in Embedded System design to ensure a sustainable roadmap for HDD Areal Density & Performance growth
- Focus on enabling the servo code and electronics architecture to enable next generation features
- Identify code and hardware setting that pose technical problems and engineering bottlenecks in product development
- Develop and Implement in HDD solutions addressing the design problems
- Perform design validation and verification
- Participate in cutting edge technology development in HDD Multi-actuator/Parallelism initiatives
- Work in an open-minded environment which: supports and fosters Innovation
- supports solutions deployment in Factory for successful product development on a high volume manufacturing scale
Requirements
- Master’s in Electrical , ECE, or Computer Engineering
- Master’s degree in the same areas with 1+ years of experience including in a University setting
- Knowledge and skills on RISC-V, Embedded Systems is a requirement
- High level of comfort with Matlab and Embedded software development
