About the role

  • Electrical Engineer developing and enhancing robotics and services at ScriptPro. Leading projects while contributing to electronics design and production support in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support projects through effective project management practices
  • Develop and execute test plans, test procedures, and test fixtures; experience with LabVIEW is preferred
  • Create technical documentation, including procedures, test specifications, and presentations, using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Operate within a production environment to support manufacturing, testing, and continuous improvement of products and processes
  • Develop electronics system specifications and contribute to system level design activities
  • Perform printed circuit board (PCB) design, analysis, and debugging
  • Author and maintain test procedures to ensure product quality and compliance
  • Provide technical support for manufacturing operations and field service activities
  • Conduct electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing in accordance with FCC and CE regulatory standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years experience of electrical engineering
  • Proficient with a complicated schematic and PCB design consisting of one or more PCB’s
  • Hands-on experience with FPGA development; VHDL and Xilinx toolchains preferred
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools; Cadstar preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of EMI/EMC design principles and safety agency compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in C programming for embedded processors (TI DSP, Atmel AVR, ARM)
  • Experience selecting components and communicating with vendors
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or in an interdisciplinary group as a leader or a resource
