About the role
- Group Accounting Professional ensuring IFRS compliance and managing diverse projects within international corporate accounting. Collaborating with subsidiaries and auditors for financial disclosures.
Responsibilities
- Participation in the preparation of the IFRS consolidated financial statements (monthly, quarterly, year-end), including responsibility for the preparation and quality assurance of parts of the consolidated notes
- Point of contact for subsidiaries on accounting issues under IFRS
- Point of contact for the external auditor
- Further development of the group's internal IFRS accounting policy
- Independent management of varied projects in the IFRS environment
Requirements
- University degree in economics/business administration with a focus on international consolidated accounting (IFRS) or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience at an auditing firm or in group accounting of an international industrial company
- Solid knowledge of standard MS Office applications and good SAP user skills
- Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical skills and an independent, responsible, and structured working style
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
