About the role
- Senior Platform Engineer enabling data management at Ørsted. Develop automations and maintain data quality standards for data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Developing automations to bridge SaaS/PaaS data management solutions with in-house data ingestion & consumption endpoints
- Implementing analytics instrumentation to measure platform usage and time-to-measure
- Enabling automated governance monitoring and enforcement for data producers / owners
- Designing processes and automated logic flows aimed at simplifying the measurement and maintenance of data quality standards
- Enabling federated enforcement of data quality rules
Requirements
- Good understanding of foundational Azure/AWS cloud services such as secrets management, identity and access management, networking, and observability
- Experience deploying, operating, and troubleshooting containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes platforms
- Familiarity with Helm and Argo Workflows is an advantage
- Experience with automation, version control, DevOps, IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD (using GitHub, GitHub Actions & Runners)
- Proven capability in Python programming integrating REST APIs and developing config-driven automation workflows
- Experience working with Data Catalogues like Collate, DataHub, and others
- Enjoy working collaboratively on features and user stories
