About the role

  • Technical Engineer managing cost analyses and regulatory compliance for Sabesp's engineering services in São Paulo. Responsible for documentation and integration with budgeting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Technically coordinate Cost Review analyses (RC/DRC);
  • Sign and validate the technical narrative attesting to the prudence, efficiency and reasonableness of investments;
  • Conduct technical liaison with the Regulation and Legal departments and other directorates;
  • Technically arbitrate discrepancies between projects, costs and execution;
  • Consolidate institutional positions in responses to ARSESP and other agencies;
  • Define technical and methodological standards for DRC analyses;
  • Promote integration of price-formatting tools (Price and Inputs Database) with SAP, enabling budget releases and the contracting of projects;
  • Prepare reports and monitoring indicators that show reference costs vs. actual costs applied to engineering works and services contracted by the Directorate of Engineering and Innovation, highlighting results, trends, opportunities and risks inherent to the processes;
  • Establish and participate in budgeting processes aimed at demonstrating direct costs applied to engineering works and services contracted by the Directorate of Engineering and Innovation, providing detailed analyses of contract performance;
  • Organize the budget cycle (capital and operating) involving executed contracts for engineering works and services for Sabesp projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with professional registration in the engineering board (CREA);
  • Minimum of 10 years since graduation;
  • Knowledge in drafting terms of reference and/or technical specifications and/or price regulations and measurement criteria to support contracting of engineering services and works;
  • Advanced skills in preparing reference budget spreadsheets, preferably using the Price and Budgeting System (SPO) or equivalent;
  • Knowledge and experience with tools such as AutoCAD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Project and SharePoint;
  • Experience preparing budgets for engineering works.
