- Perform accounting processes related to fixed and intangible assets, including capitalizations, deactivations/disposals, cost allocation and reconciliations.

- Ensure compliance with applicable SOx (Sarbanes-Oxley) controls for asset management.
- Execute asset accounting governance processes.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational processes and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
- Active registration with the Regional Accounting Council (CRC).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting within the water/wastewater or power distribution sectors.
- Senior-level knowledge of IFRS/CPCs and regulatory standards applicable to intangible, fixed and financial assets.
- Experience with large capital projects (CapEx) and control of works in progress (WIP).
- Experience with complex audits (internal and external).
- Proficient in SAP ERP.
- Analytical, critical thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and influencing skills; acts as a technical reference.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and interact with strategic areas.
- Organized and able to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
