About the role
- BI Specialist focusing on data architecture and insights for RPE. Collaborating with business and technology teams to enhance data governance and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Develop dashboards and reports in Power BI, ensuring visual quality, performance, and analytical consistency.
- Perform maintenance, investigate, and fix issues in existing dashboards.
- Interview users and stakeholders to understand business rules and analytical requirements.
- Structure and optimize data models and measures using DAX.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to support analyses and dashboards.
- Build data extraction and transformation pipelines, ensuring data quality, integrity, and governance.
- Design and maintain datamarts and data models within the Data Warehouse.
- Implement best practices for version control, testing, and documentation of BI projects.
- Contribute to the evolution of data architecture and analytical best practices.
- Collaborate with data and technology teams in agile environments.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query M, Data Gateway).
- Experience optimizing measures and performance in DAX.
- Solid knowledge of Data Visualization and data storytelling.
- Data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake, Wide Table).
- SQL (complex queries, CTEs, views, and data manipulation).
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
- Experience with Data Warehouse (modeling and building datamarts).
- Experience with Python for data manipulation and processing.
- Experience integrating data via APIs.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality.
