About the role
- Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist providing outpatient therapy and assessments at RHA Health Services. Joining a dedicated team to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health challenges.
Responsibilities
- Providing outpatient therapy and conducting occasional comprehensive clinical assessments.
- Running individual, family and group outpatient therapy sessions.
- Conducting comprehensive clinical assessment and making service recommendations.
- Conducting consumer screening and orientation.
- Conducting inpatient group therapy sessions.
- Orienting new service users to RHA.
- Developing person-centered plans for service users.
- Overseeing the discharge planning process.
- Facilitating relationships between RHA, service user families/legal guardians and various social service community resources, such as food stamp and housing assistance, healthcare, job training and placement and substance abuse support groups.
Requirements
- Must meet the requirements of a LCSW, or LCMHC (Associate licensure considered for the right candidate).
- Complete criminal background check.
- Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
- Drug testing
- Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
- Proof of employment history or references (if required)
- Positions that require driving
- Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
