About the role
- Technician responsible for overseeing the commissioning of test stands globally. Ensure functionality of complex technical components for a leading mobility solutions provider.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and handover of our test stands in-house and, after comprehensive familiarization, at our international customers' sites
- Independently perform worldwide commissioning of test stands and test-stand software
- Perform measurement-based tests and analyses
- Ensure proper functioning of various components such as hydraulic systems, drive technology, gearboxes, and control/regulation systems
- Coordinate commissioning activities and workflows with external and internal stakeholders through to successful final acceptance
- Instruct and supervise commissioning activities across various technical disciplines
- Act as the primary on-site contact for customers and collaborating trades
Requirements
- Degree in mechatronics or completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician with further qualification as a technician (m/f/d)
- Several years of solid professional experience in special-purpose machine construction and in commissioning machinery/systems
- Good PLC knowledge (e.g., Beckhoff/TwinCAT or Siemens S7/TIA Portal)
- Knowledge of control engineering and drive technology
- Good English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to undertake regular international business travel (up to 60%; maximum 6 weeks per assignment)
