About the role
- Test Automation Engineer shaping collaboration tools through intelligent testing in cloud products. Joining Refined's senior team in Helsinki or Malmö with flexible work arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for our cloud products
- Analyze feature requirements and define the best testing strategy: automated, exploratory, or a mix of both
- Identify inefficiencies in testing or code and suggest better approaches
- Continuously improve our automation pipelines and test infrastructure
- Collaborate daily with developers, designers, and product managers in Sweden and Finland
- Balance effort vs. impact: knowing when to go deep and when “good enough” is exactly right
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in test automation, ideally in web-based or cloud environments, using frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Robot Framework.
- Analytical and critical thinking – you can weigh effort versus impact and make informed choices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and an understanding of how testing fits into release flows.
- Technical fluency in JavaScript or TypeScript, or readiness to learn quickly.
