- Cybersecurity Analyst responsible for safeguarding critical systems and data from cyber threats. Identifying risks and coordinating security measures in a consulting firm environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the security and protection of the company's systems, data, and critical information against cyber threats.
- Identify and mitigate security risks.
- Respond effectively to security incidents.
- Coordinate efforts to strengthen the organization's security posture.
- Protect the company's information assets and ensure business continuity through robust and effective cybersecurity practices.
- Evaluate and recommend new security technologies.
- Define security standards and propose improvements to security policies.
- Conduct cyber risk assessments.
- Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and business context.
- Coordinate the responsible disclosure process for vulnerabilities.
- Help define security metrics and KPIs for the business.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with regulations such as CVM-35 and BSM.
- Assist in preparing evidence and documentation for auditors.
- Ensure implementation of security controls across corporate on-premises and cloud systems.
- Monitor and ensure security updates for workstations, servers, and network assets.
- Lead the response to critical security incidents.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of computer networks.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN).
- Advanced experience administering Linux servers (non-GUI environments) and Bash shell.
- Advanced scripting skills: Bash, PowerShell, Python.
- Advanced experience administering Fortinet firewalls: IDS/IPS rules, Client-to-Site VPN, IPsec Site-to-Site VPN.
- Advanced knowledge of Cloudflare: DNS, proxy, anti-DDoS rules.
- Practical experience applying the CIS security framework.
- Experience in technical documentation: post-mortems and GMUD (change management).
- You will stand out if you have:
- ISO/IEC 27001 certification.
- Fortinet certifications: Fortinet Certified Professional (Network Security) or Certified Associate: Cybersecurity.
- Advanced knowledge of Wazuh (SIEM).
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and controls such as CVM-35 and BSM.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) administration.
- Experience implementing security in Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Experience implementing CIS Controls v8.
