About the role
- Head of Financial Communications leading financial communications practice for healthcare clients. Build trusted relationships with executives and deliver high-stakes communication strategies.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead financial communications practice
- Serve as a primary advisor to CEOs, CFOs, General Counsel, and Boards
- Drive new business and deepen client relationships
- Lead teams through complex, high-stakes situations
- Develop integrated communications strategies around IR Advisory, M&A, IPOs, etc.
- Lead communications workstreams for event-driven situations
- Develop key materials (press releases, investor decks, etc.)
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in financial communications, investor relations, investment banking, equity research, or related fields
- Proven track record on complex, high-stakes situations (M&A, IPOs, shareholder activism, restructurings, etc.)
- Experience in a leading strategic communications/PR firm strongly preferred
- Experience working with healthcare clients is a plus
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, JD) a plus but not required
- Understanding of US regulatory and disclosure frameworks
