About the role

  • Head of Engineering overseeing engineering strategy and management for a real estate SaaS platform. Leading a team to align technology with business outcomes and manage technical architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 15 with 4 direct reports.\n• Lead technical vision and execution ensuring alignment with product roadmap and business strategy.\n• Responsible for growth, performance, and well-being of the engineering team.\n• Define and drive engineering standards (code reviews, CI/CD).\n• Develop engineering talent through established competency matrix and career framework.\n• Collaborate with customer-facing teams and translate technical challenges into business outcomes.\n• Own the technical architecture and guide the team on technical perspectives.\n• Lead the integration of emerging technologies into the core SaaS platform.\n• Maintain high uptime by championing SRE practices and improving Agile/Scrum methodologies.\n• Establish a clear release cadence in line with business and product strategy.

Requirements

  • At least 10+ years of experience leading engineering teams in a fast-paced SaaS environment.\n• Deep technical and architectural experience in the .NET ecosystem (C#, .NET Core) and Cloud infrastructure (AWS)\n• A strong network within the tech community and experience building hybrid teams offshore teams\n• Experience managing significant Cloud budgets and optimising spend using AWS tools\n• You think like a product owner; you understand that technology exists to solve customer problems and drive revenue\n• Hands on technical skills combined with strategic thinking\n• Detailed experience managing security / ISO27000 and related tools.
