About the role

  • Maintenance Engineer ensuring reliable operation of mechanical systems at Rain Carbon. Overseeing maintenance tasks and troubleshooting equipment issues in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of all mechanical equipment
  • Supervising preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Coordinating with cross‑functional teams
  • Implementing improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards
  • Optimizing maintenance practices
  • Supporting uninterrupted plant operations
  • Possessing strong technical knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting of material handling equipment
  • Developing and implementing procedures for Maintenance and shutdown activities
  • Identifying, evaluating, proposing, and implementing mechanical engineering improvements
  • Acting as the contract holder for contractors and suppliers
  • Entering accurate maintenance activity data in SAP
  • Providing technical expertise during installation and commissioning
  • Identifying root causes of failures and recommending corrective actions
  • Participating in meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitoring equipment performance and recommending repair, replacement, or improvement measures
  • Leading and supervising technicians and fitters

Requirements

  • Diploma / B. Tech Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Mechanical Maintenance / Project Engineering in an industrial environment
