Manager of Digital Design overseeing high-impact digital assets for Ballard Designs. Collaborating with cross-functional partners to shape the brand's digital presence through various channels.
Responsibilities
Oversee a team of digital designers responsible for creating site assets, email graphics, SMS visuals, and digital marketing materials for both Frontgate and Grandin Road
Work closely with the Director of UX & Design in the centralized eCommerce team to deliver assets for new on-site experiences and digital initiatives
Partner with the Manager of eCommerce Digital Production to intake digital creative briefs, clarify requirements, and ensure timelines and deliverables are met
Ensure all digital assets are on-brand, visually compelling, and optimized for performance across channels
Identify and implement workflow improvements to drive efficiency and maintain high standards of quality
Provide front-end development support as needed to implement digital graphics and experiences on-site, and partner in building, testing, and optimizing email creative across platforms and devices
Inspire, coach, and develop your team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Visual, UI/UX, Web, or Graphic Design (or equivalent experience)
4-6 years of experience in digital design for web, email, mobile, and digital marketing programs; experience in retail or eCommerce preferred
Proven experience managing and developing a team of digital designers
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) is a plus
Strong project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Knowledge of current digital design standards and best practices for web, email, and digital marketing
Experience collaborating with UX, eCommerce, and production teams to deliver cohesive digital experiences
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
