As a Mid-level Technical Design Analyst, you will be co-responsible for the technical development of products, ensuring that design proposals are translated into technically feasible, consistent solutions aligned with industrial processes for Havaianas' Men's, Women's, Unisex & Kids lines, and you will work alongside a dynamic, multidisciplinary, highly integrated team.
In this position, you will participate in the entire creative and technical development process for the expansion of Havaianas' Men's and Unisex lines: from defining the design vision to collaborating with partner areas that make our collection happen such as Product Marketing, Communication, Media & Insights, R&D, Industrial, among others.
Technically analyze products in development, assessing production feasibility, technical constraints and industrial attention points;
Monitor all stages of the development process with suppliers and internal teams, recording technical adjustments and ensuring adherence to approved definitions;
Interface with technical model makers, cost analysts, laboratory analysts, product analysts, tooling and manufacturing teams, contributing to technical alignments throughout development;
Report project status in periodic meetings;
Support the definition and validation of materials, components, finishes and production processes, considering aesthetics, performance, cost and manufacturing capacity;
Contribute to technical and production impact analyses, supporting decisions on project adjustments;
Organize and keep development technical documentation up to date, ensuring standardization and traceability of information;
Support continuous improvement of technical development processes, following guidelines and standards defined by the area.
Requirements
Degree in Design, Engineering, Footwear Technology or related fields;
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with pressed, injection-molded, expanded (foamed) or non-expanded materials such as rubber, EVA, TPU, PVC, TPE, ABS, among others;
Footwear patterning/modeling would be an advantage. Familiarity with 3D design/project tools is also a plus;
Previous experience in technical footwear product development;
Interest in prototyping and product visualization is a plus;
