Responsibilities

  • Conduct theoretical research into quantum algorithms and quantum error correction.
  • Work with interdisciplinary theory, software, and hardware teams to implement your ideas on the world’s most powerful quantum computers.
  • Advise architecture and hardware teams to aid the design applications and architectures for trapped-ion quantum processors.

Requirements

  • PhD completed prior to start date
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience (PhD inclusive)
  • Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status
  • Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
