About the role
- Power BI Developer responsible for creating dashboards and data models for decision-making. Transforming raw data into insights using Power BI and collaborating with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Create and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, Cloud platforms, etc.).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop KPIs, scorecards, and executive-level dashboards.
- Optimize report performance and implement best practices for data visualization.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within Power BI environments.
- Deploy reports to Power BI Service and manage workspace, gateways, and access controls.
- Provide support and troubleshoot BI solutions in production environments.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
- Expertise in DAX, Power Query (M Language), and Data Modeling
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts
- Knowledge of Azure/AWS cloud data platforms (preferred)
- Experience with performance tuning and report optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
