About the role

• Frontend Software Engineer designing and building user interfaces for Qargo's Transport Management Platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance logistics efficiency and systems.

Responsibilities

• You’ll focus on frontend development of our web-based platform, designing and building rich interfaces used by thousands of logistics professionals across Europe.
• You’ll work with React interacting with a GraphQL API (Apollo), and with frameworks like Zustand, Ant Design, Linaria, and many more.
• You’ll craft intuitive, responsive user experiences, from drag-and-drop interfaces to custom document editors and interactive maps.
• You'll optimize the performance and implement best practices to ensure smooth interactions, delivering an exceptional user experience.
• You'll be part of a driven and highly talented team with an impressive track record.
• You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve real-world challenges and enhance our product.
• You’ll make a real impact and improve efficiency and sustainability in the logistics industry while working on software used by thousands.

Requirements

• You have a Master's degree in IT/Computer Science/Software Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in frontend development.
• Passion for solving complex technical challenges and designing scalable software solutions.
• You understand technical tradeoffs and make pragmatic decisions.
• A growth mindset — eager to learn, experiment, and expand your knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills and to work independently and in a team.
• A user-first mentality — you care about the real-world impact of your work.
• Enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork and a willingness to share knowledge and accomplish shared goals.
• You have experience with React and modern frontend tooling, and a solid understanding of state management and component-based architecture.
