About the role

  • Demand Planning Analyst supporting U.S. and Canadian operations at Perfetti Van Melle. Collaborating with demand planners and supply chain teams to optimize production and inventory planning.

Responsibilities

  • Support and enhance demand planning activities for U.S. and Canadian operations
  • Execute transactional processes supporting production planning for imported and domestic products using MRP/ERP systems
  • Work closely with demand planners, forecasting analysts, sales, marketing, supplying plants, and customer service to drive production requirements and align them with customer delivery requests
  • Create and manage transactions to place, track, and monitor purchase orders and shipments
  • Collaborate with global PVM manufacturing plants and local third-party manufacturers to replenish ongoing products and support new item launches
  • Partner with demand planners to standardize, optimize, and simplify planning processes and tools
  • Analyze consumption trends versus forecast to maintain optimal service levels while meeting inventory targets
  • Evaluate stock levels across the distribution center network and provide data-driven recommendations
  • Analyze and interpret large data sets with a high degree of accuracy to support decision-making
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization across multiple geographies
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support execution, planning, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, with exposure to supply/demand planning and new product launches
  • Experience working within continuous improvement environments and methodologies
  • Experience with production planning, materials management, sales and distribution, inventory management, and warehouse management
  • SAP experience preferred
