About the role
- Leading a team of engineers in structural planning projects for national and international construction. Working within an internationally operating family business in the construction supply industry.
Responsibilities
- Technical and organizational leadership of a team of 7 structural engineers, technicians and draftspeople
- Responsibility for quality, cost-effectiveness and on-time delivery of projects in the field of structural design
- Development and planning of technical customer solutions for national and international construction projects
- Preparation and review of structural calculations as well as assessment of special solutions in building and civil engineering
- Technical consulting and training of our customers in the use of our products and software solutions
- Participation in the further development of calculation software and tools for structural design/analysis
Requirements
- Completed degree in civil engineering, ideally with a focus on structural engineering, structural analysis / structural design
- Several years of experience in structural analysis, complemented by leadership experience or leadership potential
- Confident user of CAD programs, ERP systems and common structural analysis software (e.g., Dlubal, RFEM, RStab, FRILO, mbAEC)
- Relevant leadership experience, including remote leadership/leading teams from a distance
