About the role

  • Accounting employee responsible for ongoing bookkeeping and financial tasks at Plunet GmbH in Würzburg. Collaboration with tax advisors and management of contracts are key duties.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ongoing bookkeeping (accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank, cash)
  • Processing payment transactions, dunning procedures & direct debits
  • Preparing annual financial statements for the tax advisor
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Preparing management reports and business analyses
  • Point of contact for tax advisors and authorities
  • Managing contracts (e.g., rent, leasing, utilities)
  • Supporting general office tasks (supplies, archiving, beverages, correspondence)

Requirements

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent vocational training
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting
  • Good knowledge of tax law
  • Proficient with accounting software (e.g., DATEV or Addison)
  • Independent, structured and meticulous working style
  • Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
  • Good written English skills
