Responsibilities
Conduct risk analyses (e.g., TARA) to assess potential threats and vulnerabilities
Analyze, derive, and manage cyber security requirements in customer projects
Design, document, and implement comprehensive security architectures
Contribute to system and architecture design with attention to security-relevant aspects
Develop and integrate safety-critical functions in embedded systems (C/C++)
Perform code reviews and verify security requirements as part of security audits
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Cyber Resilience Act, ISO 21434, IEC 62443)
Provide expert advice and support to our customers on all embedded cyber security matters
Where applicable, conduct penetration tests using Kali Linux
Requirements
A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT Security, or a comparable technical qualification
Several years of practical experience in embedded software development (e.g., in C/C++)
Good knowledge of at least one scripting language such as Python, bash, or PowerShell
Solid knowledge of industrial bus systems and protocols such as CAN, CANopen, UDS, EtherCAT, IO-Link, or traditional serial protocols (RS232, RS485, Modbus, ...)
Extensive knowledge and practical experience in cyber security, ideally in the embedded domain
Familiarity with current security technologies and experience conducting vulnerability analyses
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
