About the role

  • Intern in enterprise architecture responsible for document classification and application analysis. Supporting governance and maturity in enterprise architecture through structured documentation practices.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and classify architecture documents
  • Classify, sort and consolidate approximately 3,400 documents hosted on architecture SharePoint sites
  • Structure and organize this content to improve searchability, relevance and access to information
  • Identify obsolete, redundant or incomplete documents and recommend cleanup or archiving actions
  • Contribute to establishing a coherent document structure aligned with best practices
  • Analyze and classify the application portfolio
  • Analyze approximately 250 existing applications and classify them by level/tier (Enterprise, Management, Supervision, Control, Field, User Tools, Infrastructure, etc.)
  • Assess their association with application groups (ERP, CRM, BI, SCADA, MES) and establish coherent groupings
  • Map applications to business capabilities using the APQC model
  • Ensure synchronization between existing data in various files and Connect’s CMDB (ServiceNow)
  • Support the architecture team in creating a better-structured application catalog to facilitate analysis, strategic decision-making and governance
  • Identify business areas lacking technological support
  • Identify areas with application redundancies
  • Support initiatives related to enterprise architecture knowledge management
  • Contribute to improving organizational maturity in digital asset management
  • Propose ideas to optimize methods, document structure or processes used

  • Familiarity with associated graphical models and frameworks
  • Curiosity about enterprise architecture and technologies
  • Autonomy, methodical approach and proactivity
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
  • Professionalism and confidentiality, especially when handling sensitive digital assets
  • Good written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to explain new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Bilingual (French and English, spoken and written); the role will require collaboration with vendors and/or clients located outside the province of Quebec
