About the role
- Senior Cyber Security Analyst at Peach Payments responsible for facilitating security operations in Cape Town hub. Ensuring compliance and supporting security infrastructure for digital payments across Africa.
Responsibilities
- Act as a primary facilitator between technical security operations and the physical operational needs of our Cape Town hub
- Support the Head of Information Security in maintaining a robust security posture
- Champion of MDM: Drive and support the administration of our Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms
- Assist in monitoring the use of AI tools within the organization
- Act as a first-line facilitator for security alerts across our cloud and physical environments
- Assist in the documentation and testing of business continuity and disaster recovery plans
- Act as the primary on-the-ground support for the Cape Town office LAN/Internet
- Support the maintenance of PCI DSS and ISO 27001 compliance
- Instil a culture of “approachability” within the security team
Requirements
- 4+ years in Cyber Security or a high-intensity IT Ops environment
- Highly self-motivated with a "research-first" approach to problem-solving
- Experience facilitating MDM solutions (Miradore, ABM, or similar)
- Practical understanding of Ubiquiti/UniFi networking gear and physical LAN setups
- Familiarity with using LLMs for technical research and productivity
