About the role

  • Join Parspec as an SDET to build automated test frameworks and validate AI-driven workflows. Contribute to quality engineering across our platform and crawler systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own test strategy, automation, and reliability validation for Crawler, Platform, and Search services using Python, Go, and AWS tools.
  • Design end-to-end automated testing frameworks for microservices, asynchronous data pipelines, integration, regression, and performance testing.
  • Build synthetic and chaos testing frameworks to identify edge cases, performance bottlenecks, and data workflow issues in large-scale crawling systems.
  • Collaborate with Platform engineers to instrument observability, alerting, and monitoring (AWS OpenSearch, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
  • Partner with Search engineers to validate query relevance, accuracy, latency, and performance SLAs.
  • Introduce static analysis, CI/CD gate validation, and reproducible test environments to catch issues early.
  • Create automated performance benchmarking tools to measure throughput, latency, and cost economics across distributed components.
  • Contribute to internal QA frameworks for AI API evaluation, schema validation, and data consistency checks.
  • Drive continuous improvement and quality ownership across mission-critical systems powering construction data intelligence.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as SDET and QA Automation Engineer
  • Strong coding skills in Python, Go, Javascript, Typescript or Java with experience building/maintaining automation frameworks.
  • Experience testing distributed microservices, async data pipelines, message queues (AWS Lambda, SQS, Kafka), and UI automated testing.
  • Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, ECS, CloudWatch, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3).
  • Familiarity with AWS OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, API testing (pytest, Postman), and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
  • Experience with performance testing(Jmeter and etc) or chaos engineering.
  • Strong understanding of logging, metrics, and monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus).
  • Excellent debugging skills with a "break it to make it better" mindset.
