About the role
- Senior Frontend Engineer developing scalable React applications with GraphQL for Parspec's AI-powered platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop reusable, modular, maintainable component-driven architectures using React Hooks and functional components.
- Integrate and optimize GraphQL APIs (Apollo Client/Relay) with advanced caching, fragments, pagination, and error handling; collaborate on schema design.
- Implement robust state solutions (Context API, Redux, Zustand) with strong TypeScript typing, generics, and utility types.
- Apply memoization, code splitting, lazy loading, and virtualization to achieve sub-second interactions and smooth UX.
- Build and maintain Microfrontend architectures (Module Federation) for independently deployable frontend modules.
- Leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, agentic workflows) for code generation, refactoring, testing, and documentation to boost productivity.
- Write comprehensive unit/integration tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) ensuring type safety, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility.
- Lead code reviews, enforce frontend best practices, mentor juniors, and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Optimize modern build tools (Webpack, Vite) and CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable releases.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of frontend development experience, including 4+ years hands-on React.js in production
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and advanced TypeScript (generics, utility types, strict typing)
- Extensive experience with React Hooks, functional components, and component-driven architectures
- Hands-on GraphQL integration (Apollo Client/Relay) including caching, pagination, and error handling
- Proven state management implementation (Context API, Redux, Zustand)
- Experience with performance optimization (memoization, code splitting, virtualization)
- Comprehensive testing skills (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
- Familiarity with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience leveraging AI development tools in production workflows
